How do I verify my phone number?
In order to redeem your points for a gift card, you will need to have a verified phone number from a U.S. carrier. We apologize if you are having verification issues. If you being redirected to the Play Store to download the S'more app even though it's already downloaded or a 404 Error, it could be for two reasons:
- You've click on the link after it expired (1 hour)
- You are opening the link in your browser instead of the S'more app.
Please make sure you are opening the phone number and/or email verification link in the S'more app instead of your browser or Messenger. This will need to be done on your end. Here are the steps, click on Settings on your phone>Apps>S'more>Open by default>Open supported links>Open in this app. Once this is done, please try clicking on the link again in your text message.
A verified phone number from a U.S. carrier is needed to redeem a gift card and a verified email is needed to send the gift card to.
Here are a couple of details regarding mobile phone numbers:
- Currently, S'more is only available in the U.S. International phone numbers are UNABLE to be verified.
- Due to security reasons, S'more is currently UNABLE to verify VoIP (Voice over IP) numbers. These are phones numbers that use the internet to text and make phone calls. Few examples of VoIPs: Google Voice, TextNow, CenturyLink, Bandwidth, etc...
Please follow these steps to verify your phone number. On the S'more app:
- Click on Settings
- Click on Profile
- Click on Phone Number and follow the instructions.
Thanks for using the S'more app!
