How do I update my S’more app to the latest version?
There are three ways to update your S’more app to the latest version so you can continue to enjoy all its benefits. Though we cover all three in this document, we recommend that you use the first one (the quickest and easiest), which will update all apps on your device. We also cover how to configure your device to update S’more automatically and how to manually update S’more to the latest version.
Note: If Google determines an app update will fix a critical security vulnerability, we may make certain app updates regardless of update settings in the app or on your device.
Update All Android apps automatically
To automatically update all apps on your Android device, follow these steps
- Open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
- Tap hamburger menu and then choose Settings.Tap Auto-update apps.
- Select one of the following options:
- Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.
Note: If an account on your device has a sign-in error, apps may not update automatically.
Update individual Android apps automatically
To set up updates for just for S’more on your device, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
- Tap the hamburger menu and then choose My Apps & Games.
- Select the S’more app for updating.
- Tap More.
- Tap the Enable auto update checkbox.
The S’more app will update automatically when updates are available. To turn off automatic updates, uncheck the box.
Update S’more Manually
To update S'more manually using the Google Play Store app on your mobile device, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
- Tap the hamburger menu and then choose My Apps & Games.
- Apps with an update available are labeled "Update." You can also use the Search function to locate the S'more app.
- Tap Update.
Note: Some apps require new permissions when they are updated. You may see a notification asking if you accept the new permissions.
Tip: In some cases, you may need to restart your device to complete the update process.
